About

I’m an environmental researcher and strategist with a background in climate science, data analysis, and public policy. Over the past five years, I’ve led cross-sector collaborations, managed federal programs, and advanced sustainability initiatives focused on innovation and equity. Today, my work centers on the intersection of artificial intelligence and the environment helping organizations understand the environmental impacts of AI and data centers, and explore how AI can be applied across domains such as energy, water, agriculture, and climate policy.

Trainings

I offer custom trainings that help organizations understand the environmental impacts of AI and explore how AI can be applied to different areas of environmental science.1. Environmental Impacts of AI and Data Centers: Understand the environmental impacts of AI and data centers through a life cycle assessment (LCA) lens, and learn strategies for more sustainable computing and infrastructure.2. AI and Environment Applications: Explore how AI can be applied to different domains of the environmental science landscape including energy, sustainable finance, conservation science, and other fields.Format: 60-minute virtual or in-person sessions including presentation, discussion, and Q&A.Email: [email protected]

Projects

A selection of projects I’ve led or contributed to that explore the intersection of AI, climate innovation, and community-centered impact:

An open-access database of 2,000+ resources tracking how AI is being applied to solve environmental problems.

The Climate Code is a weekly newsletter exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence, environment, and public policy.

In the Environmental Impacts of Data Centers 101 course, you will learn to analyze the environmental impacts of data centers using a life cycle assessment (LCA) perspective.
